Edmonton, AB – Connor Bak scored a goal and Carson Haugan scored in round one of the shootout to give the Fort Sask Hawks a 3-2 win over the Beverly Warriors at Clareview-A on Wednesday.

Capping off the scoring for the Fort Sask Hawks was Alix Maisonneuve with a single marker. Goaltender Alexander Tadic turned aside 41 shots for the Fort Sask Hawks in the win.

The win snapped the Fort Sask Hawks' three-game losing skid.

Finding the twine for the Beverly Warriors was Lucas Pallister and Antonio Chiarello each tallying single markers. Goaltender Aven Maxcy made 31 saves in the loss for the Beverly Warriors.

With the win, the Fort Sask Hawks improve to 2-4-0-0 while the Beverly Warriors fall to 2-2-0-1.
