Ardrossan, AB – Logan Carter scored five goals to help fuel the Strathcona Bruins to an 11-5 pounding over the Edmonton Royals at Ardrossan Arena on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Strathcona Bruins was Brayden Lessard with a hat-trick, Luke Stone with two goals and Hudson Bendera with a single tally. Jake Ball added five assists, Addison Casali added four assists, Jackson Gates and Evan Zaichkowsky each added three assists and Stone added two assists. Goaltender Jasper Blink turned aside 37 shots for the Strathcona Bruins in the win.

Striking for the Edmonton Royals was Hunter Delf, Kaleb Haskey, Ben Ankerman, Andrew Bender- Yantha and Frank Yang chipping in with a goal each. Delf, Haskey and Akaash Johal each added two assists. Goaltender Hunter Hall made 26 saves in the loss for the Edmonton Royals.

With the win, the Strathcona Bruins improve to 8-8-0-1 while the Edmonton Royals fall to 8-14-0-1.
