Sherwood Park, AB – Brander Lambert scored two goals and added an assist to help the Strathcona Bruins to a 9-4 spanking over the Leduc Co-op Riggers at Strathcona Olympiette Centre on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Strathcona Bruins was Jake Ball with two goals and Brayden Lessard, Logan Dawe, Ryley Yuckim, Kade Smith and Hudson Bendera (A/P) with a goal each. Carter Gudmundson added three assists, Lessard, Adam Holowaychuk and Seth Williams each added two assists. Goaltender Blake Dehr turned aside 28 shots for the Strathcona Bruins in the win.

Striking for the Leduc Co-op Riggers was Colby Perrin with two goals and Riley Knaus and Michael Dys each adding a goal. Knaus and Hunter Komishke each added two assists. Goaltender Dayton McGrath made 21 saves in the loss for the Leduc Co-op Riggers.

With the win, the Strathcona Bruins improve to 8-14-0-1 while the Leduc Co-op Riggers fall to 4-19-0-2.
