Schultz nets hat-trick, Beaumont Chiefs destroy Edmonton Royals
Edmonton, AB – Carson Schultz scored a hat-trick and added three assists as the Beaumont Chiefs extended its winning streak to three games with a 11-6 pounding over the Edmonton Royals at Confederation Arena on Sunday.
Also scoring for the Beaumont Chiefs was Jacob Cammock with a hat-trick, Avery Fithen and Aidan Hughes, Lukas Vekved, Drew Campbell and Aden Fischer-Kobes each with single strikes. Fithen and Hughes each added four assists, Vekved, Tyson Brady added two assists. Goaltender Nathan Patrick turned aside 23 shots for the Beaumont Chiefs in the victory.
Scoring for the Edmonton Royals was Jonathan Milligan with two goals and Ethan Mack, Jevon-Tae Robertson, Rico Levasseur and Ethan Parks each adding single goals. Mack, Skylor Geddes, Riley Chivers and Billy Hicks each added two assists. Goaltender Dylan Kushneryk made 53 saves in the loss for the Edmonton Royals.
With the victory, the Beaumont Chiefs improve to 18-5-0-2 while the Edmonton Royals fall to 6-19-0-1.
