Fort Sask Hawks better Edmonton Mustangs
Edmonton, AB – Blair Boulerice scored a goal and added an assist to help support the Fort Sask Hawks in a 5-3 victory over the Edmonton Mustangs at Bill Hunter Arena on Sunday.
Adding markers for the Fort Sask Hawks was Brett Meikle, Freddy Farrell, Chase Boettger, Brody Bauder each with single strikes. Spencer Florchuk added two assists. Goaltender Josh Nix turned aside 21 shots for the Fort Sask Hawks in the victory.
Scoring for the Edmonton Mustangs was Sam Campbell, Bo Adam and Colby Oko with a goal each. Goaltender Cade Prior made 31 saves in the loss for the Edmonton Mustangs.
With the victory, the Fort Sask Hawks improve to 1-0-0-1 while the Edmonton Mustangs fall to 0-2-0-0.
