Spruce Grove, AB – Ryan Olson scored two goals including his sixth goal of the season with 0:55 remaining in the third period and as the Stony Plain Flyers extended their winning streak to six games with a 4-3 conquest over the Spruce Grove Regals at Grant Fuhr Arena on Sunday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Stony Plain Flyers was Eric Perneel and Rhett Dempsey chipping in with a goal each. Perneel added three assists and Dempsey added two assists. Goaltender Riley Nowoczin turned aside 41 shots for the Stony Plain Flyers in the win.

Cashing in for the Spruce Grove Regals was Hayden Rake, Trey Zaft and AJ Kupsch each adding single tallies. Goaltender Spencer Hutson made 35 saves in the loss for the Spruce Grove Regals.

With the win, the Stony Plain Flyers improve to 12-4-0-0 while the Spruce Grove Regals fall to 7-7-0-2.
