Stony Plain Flyers guide past Spruce Grove Regals
Spruce Grove, AB – Brennan Franks scored a goal to help fuel the Stony Plain Flyers to a 5-2 conquest over the Spruce Grove Regals at Grant Fuhr Arena on Sunday.
Rounding out the scoring for the Stony Plain Flyers was Brenden Dequier, Ross McGillivray, Rhett Dempsey, Nate Lakusta chipping in with a goal each. Sean Nault added two assists. Goaltender Noah Wiens turned aside 48 shots for the Stony Plain Flyers in the win.
Striking for the Spruce Grove Regals was Ty Noyes and Jason Gerwing each adding single tallies. Goaltender Spencer Hutson made 24 saves in the loss for the Spruce Grove Regals.
With the win, the Stony Plain Flyers improve to 14-19-0-2 while the Spruce Grove Regals fall to 8-27-0-0.
