Edmonton, AB – Braeden Nesbitt scored two goals to help the Edmonton Royals to a 4-2 win over the Morinville Jets at Confederation Arena on Sunday.

Also scoring for the Edmonton Royals was Shawn Kempster and Jaymon Mathew with a goal each. Gavin Olito added two assists. Goaltender Brayden Evans turned aside 18 shots for the Edmonton Royals in the win.

The scoring contribution for the Morinville Jets was Lee Gadoury with two goals. Goaltender Colton Kucher made 32 saves in the loss for the Morinville Jets.

With the win, the Edmonton Royals improve to 4-4-0-0 while the Morinville Jets fall to 1-5-0-1.
