Morinville, AB – Josh Mcrae scored his first goal of the playoffs on the powerplay with 15:17 remaining in the second period and Lee Gadoury scored a goal and added an assist to spark the Morinville Jets to a 3-2 win over the Edmonton Mustangs at Morinville AAA Arena on Saturday.

Also scoring for the Morinville Jets was Brett Dubuc with a single tally. Goaltender Colton Kucher turned aside 29 shots for the Morinville Jets in the win.

Lighting the lamp for the Edmonton Mustangs was Ethan Oestreiches and Ethan Martinson each adding a goal. Goaltender Spenser Campbell made 36 saves in the loss for the Edmonton Mustangs.

With the win, the Morinville Jets improve to 1-0-0-0 while the Edmonton Mustangs fall to 0-1-0-0.
