Edmonton, AB – Dayton McGrath turned aside all 19 shots he faced and Michael Dys scored two goals and added three assists to help secure the Leduc Co-op Riggers a victory in a 13-0 trouncing over the Edmonton Royals at Confederation Arena on Wednesday.

Adding markers for the Leduc Co-op Riggers was Emileo Rizzuto and Riley Knaus with a pair of goals each, Connor Allen, Joel Van Doesburg, Brayden McCormick, Ethan Springer, Connor Goofers (AP), Elias Sveinsson and Ryder Brunken each contributing with single markers. Allen, Logan Baich, Rizzuto, Van Doesburg, McCormick, A.J. Frigon (AP) and Jack Moore each added two assists.

Goaltender Daniel Zander made 30 saves in the loss for the Edmonton Royals.

With the victory, the Leduc Co-op Riggers improve to 8-15-0-0 while the Edmonton Royals fall to 0-22-0-0.
